What to know before you order
Orders usually ship Monday to Friday once payment is confirmed.
Canada Post live rates are requested first for retail, wholesale, and international delivery.
If a live rate cannot be returned, Canadian and U.S. retail orders over $100 ship free and orders of $100 or less ship for $20 in the destination currency.
Wholesale orders and destinations outside Canada and the United States require a live Canada Post rate.
Shipping totals, currency, and taxes are confirmed from the shipping address at checkout.
Where we ship
Fiddlehead Heaven ships to Canada, the United States, and the international destinations available in checkout. U.S. shipping addresses check out in U.S. dollars. Canadian and all other international shipping addresses check out in Canadian dollars.
Every complete shipping address is quoted through Canada Post first. International and wholesale checkout pauses if Canada Post cannot return a rate so those shipping charges are never guessed or treated as free.
Processing time
Most in-stock items are packed within one to three business days after payment is confirmed. During busy seasonal harvest periods, large wholesale orders, or severe weather, handling may take a little longer.
If an item is seasonal, preorder-only, or temporarily limited, we will note that on the product page or follow up before shipping.
Rates, taxes, and tracking
Available Canada Post services and prices are calculated live from the complete destination, parcel weight, and package measurements. The order summary confirms the selected rate before the order is placed.
If a live rate cannot be returned for Canadian retail delivery, merchandise subtotals over $100 CAD ship free and subtotals of $100 CAD or less ship for $20 CAD. The same rule is applied in USD for U.S. retail delivery.
Wholesale orders and every destination outside Canada and the United States must receive a live Canada Post rate.
Canadian taxes are calculated from the shipping province. Orders outside Canada do not include Canadian sales tax, but the customer is responsible for any local duties, brokerage fees, or import requirements.
When tracking is available, the tracking number or link can be added to your customer account order details.
Heat, weather, and remote delivery
Wild foods and botanicals should not sit in extreme heat, heavy rain, or freezing conditions longer than necessary. Please choose an address where the package can be received promptly.
Remote, rural, or PO box delivery may require extra transit time. Canada Post or the selected carrier controls final delivery timing after the parcel leaves us.
